Cecil T. Hunter Swimming Pool

The new pool house features upgraded amenities for the community, including new and improved restrooms and showers, along with office space and custodial facilities for pool staff. Improvements to the Cecil T. Hunter Pool also included:

  • Replacing the main pool facility, including new restrooms, showers, changing spaces and offices

  • Improved access from the parking area and along Blount Street

  • A new concrete pool deck on the southern corner of the pool

Cecil T. Hunter Pool is located at 200 E. Blount St. in Pensacola. Existing pool features include water slides, spray features, and a zero depth entry pool. The pool is named after the late Cecil T. Hunter, a former Pensacola City Councilman, longtime educator, and Civil Rights advocate in the Pensacola community.
